Founded by Fariezan Abas, a seasoned educator, certified trainer/coach, community leader and former army officer with more than two decades of leadership development and instructional design experience, our academy embodies the vision of nurturing resilience, leadership, and lifelong learning.

We listen, understand and empathise the needs of our clients, and design tailored learning solutions by partnering industry experts to develop impactful programmes. Our Founder & Principal Trainer
After serving more than 18 years in the military, Fariezan Abas made a natural transition into education and training, driven by a deep passion for leadership, teaching, and community empowerment. His time in the armed forces laid a strong foundation of discipline, strategic thinking, and leadership – skills that now underpin his work as the founder of Edxel Academy, an education and training consultancy committed to developing people and strengthening communities.
Fariezan is a dedicated grassroots volunteer with the People’s Association (PA), where he currently serves in key leadership roles: Chairman of the Community Development Welfare Fund, Chairman of the Malay Activity Executive Committee (MAEC), and Council Member of PA MESRA – the national coordinating body for MAECs across more than 100 Community Clubs. He is also a graduate of PA’s inaugural 6-month Leadership in Community Programme, designed to prepare high-potential civic leaders for key roles in Singapore’s community landscape.
Since 2018, Fariezan has also been an active member of the School Advisory Committee of a local primary school. In 2024, he was honoured with the Ministry of Education’s ‘Service to Education Award’ in recognition of his efforts to support school initiatives and foster school-community partnerships.
Fariezan integrates his military, community, and educational leadership experiences to deliver impactful training solutions. The academy aims to equip individuals and organisations with the skills to lead confidently, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to society – empowering them to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
